Eric Snitchler, Ph.D.

Dr. Eric Snitchler earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in August 2004. He completed his clinical internship through the Norfolk Regional Center. Through his training and experience, Dr. Snitchler developed extensive therapy and assessment experience working with children, adolescents, couples, families, and adults in a variety of settings. Dr. Snitchler is a licensed clinical psychologist and member of the American Psychological Association (APA). He is a regular participant in continuing education programs to further develop his expertise in support of the individuals and families with whom he works. As a member of Apex Therapy Services, he sees clients in both Norfolk and Columbus, Nebraska.

Dr. Snitchler currently provides therapeutic services to individuals, families, couples, children, and adolescents experiencing a wide variety of problems. He also provides Psychological Testing, ADHD assessment, Learning Disability evaluations, diagnostic assessment, parent training, psychoeducation, needs/risk assessments, and assessments for the Office of Juvenile Services. Dr. Snitchler is able to accept Midlands, Medicaid, and BC/BS. Evening and weekend appointments available.

Dr. Snitchler also provides Specialized Anxiety Disorders Treatment at Apex Therapy Services. Dr. Snitchler received specialized training through his graduate program and related work experiences. He has worked with many patients experiencing a variety of different types of anxiety disorder problems and has been involved in research that examines the etiology, treatment, and related problems for anxiety. For the most part, Dr. Snitchler's specialty training was focused on the treatment of Panic Disorder, OCD, Social Phobia, and Specific Phobias.
